Summary
Mitral Repair does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data.
What the app does not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software.
- No network requests. All content is bundled in the app and works offline.
- No access to contacts, photos, location, health data, camera or microphone.
Data stored on your device
The app saves two settings on your device only: that you have acknowledged the disclaimer, and whether drawings show a complete ring or a posterior band. Quiz answers are not saved. These settings never leave your device and are removed when you delete the app.
Calculator inputs
Measurements entered in the calculators stay on the screen while you use them and are not saved or sent anywhere.
External links
References link to PubMed and to publishers' websites. Those sites open in your browser and are governed by their own privacy policies.
Patient information
The app has no way to enter or store patient information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
