About the app
Mitral Repair is an educational, point-of-care reference for cardiac surgery residents and other trainees. It explains mitral valve anatomy and the Carpentier classification, and walks through repair techniques step by step on an interactive surgeon's-view and long-axis illustration: annuloplasty, resection, neochords, chord transfer, McCarthy's measured repair, edge-to-edge, commissural and cleft closure, and leaflet augmentation. It includes a NeoChord sizer, a coaptation planner, a ring sizer, a SAM risk checklist, a post-repair TEE check, a map from TEE views to the surgeon's view, and case-based quizzes. Every section lists its sources with links to PubMed.
